Based on Laura Lippman's 2019 novel of the same name, Lady in the Lake hit screens globally in July 2024. Starring Natalie Portman and Moses Ingram, the drama-thriller is set in 1960s Baltimore, and centres on an investigative journalist who becomes fixated on solving the murders of 11-year old Tessie Durst and a bartender named Cleo Johnson.
FutureWorks delivered over 220 shots for the mini-series–with a scope including FX, depth compositing, and clean-ups.
A team of 40 artists supported VFX Supervisor Gouri Shankar on the project which spanned over a year.
