The Assam Gaurav is the third highest civilian award of the state and recognises professionals across various fields who have contributed to their industries. The 22 awardees include FutureWorks very own Head of Sound, Debajit Changmai.

Debajit is an award-winning film mixing engineer and sound designer. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (OSCAR) and has delivered his expertise to over 200 films, ranging across a variety of languages. Amongst his successful projects, Debajit is also the first mixing engineer from India to collaborate with acclaimed Directors, Majid Majidi and Mira Nair.
