FutureWorks delivers complete post-production services for Dharma Productions’ ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’
FutureWorks Media has proved to be one of the leading creative forces in providing one-stop solution to demanding feature productions. The post-production house has just completed delivering their end-to-end services for Dharma Productions’ ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.
After their successful collaboration with Dharma Productions for ‘Kapoor & Sons’ last year, where the FutureWorks team provided the camera equipment for filming followed by the complete post-production (VFX, DI & Sound), the leading banner has handed over the same responsibilities to FutureWorks once again. Talking about her experience on working with FutureWorks team, Cinematographer Neha Parti Matiyan, said, “The journey of colour correcting a film sometimes opens new doors. When we start a film we set out with a look in mind and execute on the basic of that... and sometimes the calmness of the dark room (the grading theatre) let's you explore how you could change things entirely once in a while or just tweak to perfect what you already have. On this entire journey of reliving the film it's very important to be on the same page with your colorist... Tushar Desai and I had a great equation, got everything bang on and now it's out there for the world to see. And each and every one at Futureworks has shown great talent and has been exceptionally passionate and professional. Starting from Kailash Jadhav (Head Of Production) who made sure we delivered everything on time, Vinay Chuphal (VFX Supervisor)and his team, all of who dealt patiently with our back and forth on the VFX and Tushar who is great at what he does.”
‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ marks the second instalment of a franchise that began with the romantic comedy ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ (2014). Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
